What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. God saw you getting tired and So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, Our hearts were almost broken, You fought so hard to stay, But when we saw you sleeping, So peacefully free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. You are missed but are forever in our hearts.
